Asrock Z370 Pro4 vs MSI Z370-A PRO

I have just bought an i5 8400 and i am not going to wait until early next year for a H or B series motherboard, i am going to buy the cheapest z370 board. both the asrock and the msi board are similar in prices and was wondering does any one have an opinion on which one is better?

Personally I'd go with Asrock (I've had bad luck with MSI boards) but it really doesn't matter unless one has features you need that the other doesn't.

The only thing i noticed was the asrock as no rear usb 2.0 only 3.0 where as the msi board does have 2.0 rear usb. But i think usb 3.0 is backwards compatible?

It is compatible.

HD3P has much better integrated sound quality then Pro4. I had issues with buzzing sounds while moving mouse on Pro4, for that reason I switched to HD3P, and now sound is perfect
