[SOLVED] ASRock Z390M Pro4 and USB3.1 gen 2 front panel connector port

Hello there! I use the ASRock Z390M Pro4 motherboard. At the bottom of the board under the PCI Express 3.0 x4 slot there is a USB3.1 gen 2 front panel connector port as on ASUS, but there is no connector itself. Tell me this connector is functional? Why was it brought out if the connector itself is not there? If you solder the connector from ASUS, will it work?

There is not USB3.1 gen2 port on the board where you're mentioning, in fact that is just a labelling on the PCB for the sake of marketing. On the same note, the ports you're looking for are at the back of the motherboard, at the rear I/O.
