I Installed an M.2 card and also Windows 10 pro today. Only got a 120mm fan in the back end of the new kolink midi tower chassi. Cpu temp was around 47-60 with a 100mm on the cpu and the motherboard 46. Put another two 120mm at the top and then the cpu seems to be around 42 to 43 with a simple download and with 30 degrees in the room when the element got too hot. The motherboard is at 42. I have only worked with retro computers before such as Dell workstation and they tend to be much cooler only with 2 120mm industrial fans in the front and even without a cpu fan the cpu is around 21-27 in normal mode. Guess artic paste can cool down the cpu more? This paste that i used was more standard, maybe even the cooler was screwed in there a little crookedly. But i was very careful. The M.2 card is at 38-43.
I did a bugdet build, a pity for the special overclock motherboard but i will get more classy things. I got a i5-11400f 2.60with /4.40ghz. G.SKILL Trident Z Royal Series (Intel XMP) DDR4 RAM 32GB (2x16GB) 4000MT/s CL18-22-22-42 1.40V Desktop Computer Memory UDIMM - Silver (F4-4000C18D-32GTRS). The memory's seems to be running on 1333 and the processor can stand 3200.
Newer motherboards require more fans? MOS seems to be at 42-43
