ASRock z68 question

I am considering getting an ASrock Extreme3 Gen 3.

This is because the Gen 3 revision of Z68 supports pci express 3.0

But.... will pci express 3.0 work to the full extent, when using a sandy bridge processor (2500k)

Or will pci express 3.0 only be supported with ivy bridge.

Im building a new pc, so cost is a primary focus. So i cant "get sandybridge for now, then get ivybridge when it comes out"

The reason i care about pci-e 3.0 is becuase i will be buying a new southern islands GPU along with the mobo etc.

Finally what is some good gaming ram that will work with the motherboard (1600mhz)

Here you have comparison pcie 2.0 with pcie 3.0. The diference is almost 0.

1) I dont live in the U.S so do not have access to newegg (I highly wish i did)
2)Does sandybridge support pci express 3.0
