I have plugged in my fans into Ir1? ok well first of all, my computer was always working perfectly nothing wrong whatsoever, and then when i plugged in that new fan into the wrong place, nothing turned on EVER. The only way i would get a response is if i replace the battery and try again, and all that would do is dr debug would flash and it shuts down again. How to fix? plz thank you so much

Solution
If you plugged a fan into the wrong connector/header, then it's likely you may have damaged the board. There is unlikely to be any "fix" for that. I think the moral of the story here is don't plug stuff in unless you are sure about what you are plugging it into, otherwise you stand a very good chance of creating a direct short that will destroy your hardware.

Looks like maybe you'll be doing an upgrade after all, or at least getting a new board. Possibly more than just the board.
