Asrock z77 extreme 4 sata problem

Hello
I'm putting together my first pc. Everything was going well so far untill I pressed the power button.
The bios is starting, its detecting CPU, Graphics card, RAM memory but it says that all SATA2 and SATA3 ports are empty.
I've plugged SSD drive with sata 3 cable there, and dvd-rv optical LG drive with sata 2 and baracuda 1TB HDD with sata 2 there.

I'm really stuck ;/ Does anyone know why doesn't my mobo detect the devices connected to sata ports ? it says the ports are "emtpy"

Hi,
Have you connected the power cables to the drives?

Did you plug into the Asmedia ports by mistake (A0 OR A1)? If so move the sata cable to the Intel port Sata_0. Also, check the power cable how alexoiu suggested. Don't plug in extra hdds until after you get windows installed. Only have the ssd and optical drive in the sata ports for now.
