you may check their site for comparison.. here check the link. but if i where to choose from those 2? id go with the Extreme 4, due to both have same specs and price is much cheaper than the Ex6.

both are the same in specs
Extreme 6 has a few extra things like
- firewire
- 2 extra sata cables
- 2 extra usb 3.0 plugs that you put in front of computer in drive bay
- its normal size so it fits in the case better ( extreme 4 is 1 inch thinner, don't know why)
- upgraded heatsinks
not much more if you add all the extras and added it to the extreme 4 separately it would cost more then 25$ extra
the extreme6 is 25$ more then extreme4
depend if you want the extras .....specs stay the same

its not that much of an extra for the $25 price. a lot of Cases now have included 3.0 USB. firewire is not much of use, heatsinks doesnt matter much to me. but with the price performance id bet with the extreme 4
For future readers: a good reason to pick the Extreme6 over the Extreme4 is if you want to install and stay with WinXP. The floppy port on the Extreme6 makes it very much easier (and less expensive in time and equipment workarounds) to load AHCI and RAID drivers during installation. That way you get the most speed out of your new, modern CPU and motherboard, and enjoy their capability.
