Hi. I am having trouble configuring automatic CPU fan speed with this mobo. By default it runs at max and is quite loud with my 212evo. If i turn it to auto i have two options, target fan speed and target temp. If I set the target speed low, it gets nice and quiet, however the fans never ramp up under load, even though the target temp is set at 50. Just ran IBT and got to 80 without the fans increasing. Am I doing something wrong here? I thought the point of auto fan speed was to increase when it gets hot, but it's just staying at whatever speed i set it at permanently, regardless of temp. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Same here tjh9. The BIOS seems to ignore any temperature entered and simply run the fans as directed by the 'Level' setting (Lvl6 being around 75% and Lvl9 being about 95%) at ALL temperatures all of the time. I have a support ticket in now.
Did you ever find a solution other than a 'Soft-Fan Controller' like SpeedFan? My 2 CPU fans are connected to the CPU1 and CPU2 Headers and seem to be controlled as 1 unit in the BIOS. The problem with SpeedFan is that the readings I get are completely inaccurate and only CPU1 fan RPM is shown. I refuse to trust it.

I will get back to this post if I get it figured out and you have not.
