Hi all,

I was hoping you could help me. I've just put together my first desktop but something's not working. At first glance it looks like things are working OK, but nothing's appearing on the monitor and the "Dr Debug" numbers on my motherboard (ASRock Z77 Extreme4) read 55. I found an earlier thread (http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/317517-30-asrock-extreme4-debug), but I don't really understand what it means and it seems pretty old - hoping I don't need to contact the ASRock guys as I'd been informed everything was compatible. I'm not sure if because the motherboard has this display that means it's not the motherboard that's at fault? (e.g. it's alive and not blown/DOA). The only other concern I have (apart from the obvious) is that I'm not feeling anything from the power supply fan (as I remember I've pointed it towards the bottom of the case but can't feel anything). Any help/reassurance would be greatly appreciated!

Here's my parts list -

Thanks for your reply. I took the memory out, got a 53 - no memory installed, put back in and got 55 again. Tried loosening the cooler but I'm still getting a 55. Any other ideas?

Thanks
