Question asrock z77 pro 3 motherboard isn't booting to bois

[help me fix this thingg]

I have a asrock z77 pro 3 motherboard and I had just bought it and I installed a third gen core i5 and 2gb of ddr3(one stick)
it is not working, I've installed a gpu to see if that works but, nothing I even reset the bois and still nothing. I haven't even put it in a case yet, it is on the static bag it came with and everything spins like fan wise with the psu and everything and there is no led light on the board or speaker so I can't tell what is wrong with this thing....

See if your CPU is supported and which minimum version of Bios that it needs..

Also be sure that you have the 24pin and the 8 pin power connectors installed.
