The middle slot doesn't but the rest do including the gen 5 slot....

Thinking about putting a Samsung 990 Pro on that board, was wondering if it would need some more thermal strips on. lot
of videos on different heights of chips and controller.

Headed to Micro Center this week to get the 990 Pro, how do I find out if compatible with the Z790 Steel Legend Wifi ?

It's compatible. Its supports all nvme drives with that gen 5 slot.....
