Clear the cmos/bios but I would try one of the two rear usb2 ports first.
Thank you. The asrock z87 extreme 4 motherboard has a button marked "reset", just push that or remove the battery?
The USB2 ports work orkay as that is where I have the wireless plugs for the thumball and keyboard. The USB3 ports work if I put a USB2 item into them.
ps I had got an email that said my thread was deleted yet here it is. ???
Turns out that the issue was windows loading so fast that using the usb keyboard the f2 was not registering. Hooked up a ps2 board and got into the BIOS restoring the legacy support. Back to normal. Also it was bad drivers for the rear usb3 ports even tough I got the drivers from Asrocks web site.
