My current setup:
Therefore, I did a CMOS reset (unplug the power cable, take out CMOS battery and switch the jumper and waited 15mins). Nothing changed.
So reseated CPU, GPU, RAM, my 8pin power cable and still nothing changed.
I updated my bios to P3.40 already but I could try reflashing it again since I only did it once.
So after many failed attempts, I switch back to my i5-4570 and it boots up normally. I tried the i7-4790 on another PC and it is working though.
Not sure what is causing the issue.
- Asrock Z87 extreme4 motherboard
- i5-4570
- 2x 8GB and 2x 4GB rams
- GTX970
- 750W PSU
