Hi all,
The title is just the beginning. I bought a pcie wireless card for better speed, and have had heck making it work. Long story short, right now it is working in the full size PCI slot, with the bios pushing gen 2 power to it. That was the jankiest way I could make it work. When I put the card in the top slot with the correct size PCI, I could not get it to recognize. Then I saw a post where someone had changed the power settings and got it to recognize. Well I don't have PCIE1 power settings in my bios, so I tossed it in PCIE5 and set the setting to gen2.
As of right now, it kind of works. The 2.4ghz signal is amazing and better than my usb adapter, but the kicker is, my 5ghz won't connect at all. Even my shitty usb adapter would still connect to the 5g, so something is wrong.
Help me get it in working toms! Please!
