Hello all:

I recently built a computer using the ASRock Z97 Extreme4 motherboard. The computer appears to run perfectly fine and runs programs amazingly well.

However, when I enter the BIOS screen upon start-up, the so called "Dr. Debug" gives the a A6 error code. According to the manual this error is associated with IDE or SATA devices.

I am wondering 1) how to fix this error, and 2) whether--as my computer appears to be running perfectly fine--if should even worry about this error.

Thank you,
T

However, codes are technical reference and should be ignored once get the screen display.
Please check if the code is A6 or Ab (lower case B).
Code Ab indicates under UEFI BIOS screen, code A6 related to mainboard detecting the drive.
