News ASRock's Radeon RX 5700 XT Taichi OC+ Is One Beautiful GPU

i don't see the appeal. That center fan has me triggered, but i suppose if it can be disabled it's fine, but the backplate is all over the place. We had a stretch from 2016-2018 where nuetral greys and blacks were back in fashion, now we are going over the top to stand out from the competition. Glad to see asus stuck with their strix design.

Remember this will be in context surrounded by black components and will look better. It's hard to judge a card by the way it looks in a press picture.

For example, the G.Skill royal silver is reflective, and so it looks like the surrounding. Once it is installed and it is dark and the lights are on, the look is much different than what you would expect.

I'm not to sure about the gold accents though.

I was about to buy a Powercolor Red Devil 5700XT but I am now giving this one serious consideration. My new build is using the ASrock X570M Pro4 motherboard (only Micro-ATX X570 in production), so it would be nice to match up the branding of the motherboard to the graphics card too. Regarding the gold accents on the card, I won't even be able to see the backplate in my build.
