Assassin creed runs very slow

hi guys....

just now i downloaded assassin creed brotherhood.i extracted the files.
but when i open the game it runs slowly.what is the problem?.could you please help me.

my system configuration is,
core i5-650 @3.2ghz
500gb hard disk
4gb ram
Intel HD graphics

my motherboard model is gigabyte GA H55M-D2H.WHAT MEANS ON BOARD CHIP?DISCRETE VIDEO CARD?(DONT GET FRUSTRATED,BCOZ I AM NEW FOR THIS TOPIC)CAN YOU EXPLAIN ME?AND WHAT MODEL OF DISCRETE VIDEO CARD(NVIDIA) WILL SUIT FOR ME?

TC we need to know how much your willing to spend and what power supply you have.
If you open the case and look at the side of the power supply (box with a load of cables coming from it near the top/bottom) it should say the make and model.
