Assassin's creed 3 the application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000022).

So i tried to run my assassin's creed 3 today and this message popped up please help this is making me very mad any help would be appreciated thanks.

The error code 0xc0000022 seems to mean a file is missing so ive been looking around online and everyone seems to be saying to reinstall the game, and make sure your on a main account and launching it from the correct shortcut/.exe file . people also seem to be saying that your antivirus might be causing it so allow the game through your firewall (if you dont know how to do this just google it lol) . If none of that works you could try this: go to "run" shortcut for this is Windows button + R and type "sfc/scannow" it scan's the computer and automatically replaces all broken, corrupted files on the system so you might want to make a back up right before you do this just for the hell of it.

(all this information was obtained online and i havent really tested any of it but it all seems pretty solid, your missing some type of DLL file)
