Hey. I have a really low end PC
Intel Core 2 DUo e4600 2.40GHz
Nvidia Geforce G210
3GB RAM
I don't have a lot of money and I recently bought Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag. Unfortionately the frame rate is really slow:10-13 FPS everywhere. The game is so laggy it's really hard to play it. I am looking for a new GPU to buy. I don't have a lot of money and I found the GTS 450 for $80. Now if I but this GPU do i also need to upgrade the RAM or will the game run fine with 3GB RAM?. I don't want a really high Frame Rate but at least 25 FPS.

no no no dont buy such an old gpu for such a huge price get something like gtx 650, amd 7750, 7770, something from atleast 6xx, 7xx series nvidia or 7xxx, r9 series amd, that gts 450 is worth maybe 30 bucks at best, if you dont mind getting used stuf you could perhaps get better than these, in any case if its older generation make sure its high end otherwise there is no point of getting a really old and weak card, ram should be fine

(1)if possible try get another 2gb of ram. (2)get the 7750 instead(or hd 7770 if you can) (3)overclock your cpu. lastly off shadow and aa or fxaa and blur and post. texture dont really impact that much. set af at x4.
