Hi Guys ,,

I have freezing problem with most of my game ,, when i install the latest nividia driver 285 ,, but i removed it and install the 280 driver and then everything work fine ,, after 1 week the freezing problem came back again with the nvidia driver 280 so i removed it and i try the 275 driver ,, but its the same problem ,, the game freezing after 20 Minutes of playing ,,

i suspect that the problem for the windows auto update ,, because this problem occurred after windows update

The Witcher 2 also freezing with the 280 driver ,, i think its a system problem :??:

I get freezing too, have to hard reset computer. I just run 8 hours of prime95 and no errors. It used to blank out then return to game after a few seconds, this is why I suspect it is graphics driver. Now it just halts the computer, no bsod.

you need to check your temps and system stability...
2 tests that will tell you your stable are prime 95 and furmark. run both for an hour 1 will test your cpu and ram while the other will test your gfx...
you will need to run a program like gpu-z and speedfan to check your temps while the stress test is performed...
if your gpu goes over 80 then you need to increase your fanspeed via msi afterburner. if your fanspeed is maxed out but your still getting over 80 then your case needs better cooling.
as for your cpu you will need to get the max temp for that cpu and run the tests. again if your within 1-5 degrees of the cpu's max temp you need to increase fan speed. (do this in bios by turning off the cpu fan speed controler) or use speedfans own fanspeed controler if your motherboard is supported.

you will also want to check your ram voltages. most ram will be set at the default for the motherboard but thats not the same as the default for the ram...
am2 motherboards for instance set the default for ram at 1.8v but the average for performance ram is 2.0 volts. if you find your ram is undervolted then thats the most likely reason your system is unstable...
