Question Assassin's Creed Origins on Uplay crashing computer

On startup of the game i get to the warning this game may cause seizures then my computer has one.

It looks like the screen freezes. i installed geforce experience and the overlay confirmed it freezes before crashing.

tried running in admin, compatibility, verifying files, reinstalling. disabled uplay overlay, geforce experience overlay, tried turning off all anti virus and startup programs. always the same thing. reinstalled graphics drivers with DDU. tried updating windows etcetcetc.

any idea's? i am at a loss.
