Assassins Creed Syndicate not running properly *Video included*

So i just picked up this Asus R9 380 card with 4gb of memory. I was told it would run syndicate just fine, and canyourunit says i wouldnt have a problem with it however thats not the case. I have changed the game settings to low for everything possible to no avail. If anybody has any idea what might be causing this i would certainly appreciate the help. On the latest drivers for my card now.

That just looks like thae game is broken. have you tried reinstalling?
The phenom x6 is a bit old but it should cause that much problems with a r9 380

Well I actually printed out a return label for this card to ship it back to amazon, but you're pretty sure it's not the card at fault? I'll give a go at reinstalling the game in the morning. Thanks for the info.

The card seema to work to at least some extent, if it wasnt working you wouldnt get a signal to hdmi so its probably something else. Have you tried any other games?

Well I've played Arkham knight and bio shock infinite. Those seem to work just fine.

Then there is nothing wrong with the graphics card, sending it back to amazon is usless.Since other games work i would say there is a problem with AC syndicate

I wouldnt have been returning it for the sake of returning something lol, i was going to return it to purchase a newer/more capable card. But I seem to have found the issue however strange it may be. Since AC is an ubisoft game and they force you to use their software, i added it as a shortcut to steam, thats how ive launched it since the first download. I recently launched it via the ubisoft software and it seems to have fixed my issue, no idea why i couldnt launch it via a shortcut as all that im launching is an exe but thats the only thing i have done differently since this whole ordeal started.
