Assassin's Creed: Unity or The Crew?

Hi folks, got a little bit more of a subjective question here. I just bought a new GPU for my build through NewEgg, and I get a complimentary free gift of a choice between Far Cry 4, Assassin's Creed: Unity, and The Crew. I would have sprung for FC4, but I already got that for Christmas (along with the motivation to finally upgrade my GPU).

So the question is, what ends up as my consolation prize between the remaining two games? I've read a bunch of reviews about how buggy AC:U is, as well as how it's basically more of the same (I liked 1 and 2 a lot back in the day, but never bothered with the others for that reason). On the other hand, The Crew looks like it has okay reviews but can seem to get pretty dull and repetitive.

So while I'm not spending any money, I'd still like to have the game I'd enjoy more. So just curious on what people thought of both games. Any insights/thoughts/preferences/experiences/playful banter would be awesome. Thanks everyone!

In spite of it's many bugs; i find ACU to be surprisingly enjoyable. They claim to have fixed most of the bugs but i feel they did more of a "sweep under the rug" kind of thing; instead of fixing the core networking issues they wrote code that eases the consequences of the bad networking.

I feel that under a layer of nasty bugs actually lies a gem of a game, and i sincerely hope they fix it up to the level they are promising.

Can't say anything about the crew, haven't played it.

The characters are brilliant also
