[SOLVED] Assembled PC Configuration

I want a PC for CAD (SolidEdge) and FEA (ANSYS).

Branded desktop and laptop seem expensive.

Can I assemble a desktop PC with following specifications?
Core i5 8600K
MSI Z370-A Pro
Corsair 16GB 3000MHz

I will add RAM and graphics card if performance issues happen.

I have a very old desktop PC. Can I use its power supply, coolers, etc. in place of buying new?

thats certainly a good start to a PC.

Most likely your old PSU is worn out, Fans will probably work just fine though
