Back in 2017 of May, I built this PC:

  1. AMD - Ryzen 5 1600 3.2 GHz 6-Core Processor
  2. MSI - B350M GAMING PRO Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard
  3. Corsair - Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3000 Memory
  4. Asus - GeForce GTX 1060 3GB Dual Video Card
  5. Corsair - Builder 500 W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply
Lately, I've been getting crashes on Fortnite, and other games but mostly Fortnite, a lot that contains this error:

Assertion failed: [File:Unknown] [Line: 198] Unreal Engine is exiting due to D3D device being lost. (Error: 0x887A0006 - 'HUNG')

Not sure what is causing it but these are the things that I have tried doing to fix it:

  1. Reapplying Thermal paste to my CPU
  2. Resetting Windows Entirely
  3. Using different types of Graphics Card drivers
  4. Uninstalling and Reinstalling the Game Entirely
  5. Dusting Out the computer
  6. Updating the Bios Drivers
All of these things that I've tried have not seemed to work and it is really frustrating since I can't play the game for more than a minute even if I'm chilling on the lobby screen.

Here is the full error message if interested:
