Hello, I am in need of some assistance, for either upgrading selected components or just purchasing a new computer outright.

I know nothing about computers other then building them, I'm not the best when it comes to the actual tech specifics, yes I know there are sites like PCpartpicker that can help you build a computer and although I do it I still don't know if I'm selecting good products. So my reason for coming to this forum today is for one of two reasons.

1) I know my processor is outdated, so i'm looking to upgrade not only the CPU. motherboard and RAM

2) or if I should outright buy a whole new computer.

Motherboard: MsI MPG Z490 Gaming Edge Wifi (MS-7c79) (U3e1)
CPU: Intel Core i3 10105F @ 3.70GHZ
GPU: Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 Ti (MSI)
Ram: 32.0GB Dual-Channel DDR4 @ 1599MHz (22-22-22-52)
Storage: 1863GB KINGSTON SNV2S2000G (SATA-2 (SSD)

Additional Storage Drives:
14902GB Avolusion PRO-5Y SCSI Disk Device (USB (SATA) ) 39 °C
953GB Lexar SL200 SCSI Disk Device (USB (SATA) (SSD)) 26 °C
4657GB Western Digital WD easystore 2624 USB Device (USB (SATA) (SSD)) 31 °C
3726GB Seagate BUP Portable SCSI Disk Device (USB (SATA) ) 32 °C
7452GB Western Digital WD easystore 264D USB Device (USB (SATA) ) 39 °
C16764GB Avolusion PRO-5X SCSI Disk Device (USB (SATA) ) 40 °C

I would have to verify the Power Supply when I can get a better look at it

One of my main goals at the end is to have a system that will be able to hand game playing especially when its over loaded by rendering a lot of markers, and two to be able to run many applications without slowing the processing of the system. also if there is anything else that I should add to my system that may be needed or just might help overall?

again I am a complete noob so if anyone does help i'm looking for not only help but guidance so i can also learn for the future.

Thank you.

You could just drop in a 11th Gen i7 into the socket but you will need to upgrade the cooler(if you're using a stock intel cooler at this moment) to something beefy. Either a beefy air cooler or an AIO(watercooler. The sweet spot for Intel's DDR4 platforms was between DDR4-3200MHz and DDR4-3600Mhz with tight latencies.

What is the make and model of your PSU and it's age? Make and model of your case?

You might want to stylize your thread with info asked of in this thread;
and the community will chime in with worthwhile suggestions. We're also going to need to know the tasks you're going to be taxing the system with.

Additional Comments: Quiet system, Current Games playing (Scum and soon to be Aska)

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: The game that I'm wanting to play called Aska when I attempted to go to "Canyourunit.com" stated that my CPU will not handle the game, or more so may be able to handle it in the beginning but the more things you put into the game lets say "markers" the more it has to render in and at that point my system won't be able to handle the game rendering.

Include a list of any parts you have already selected with descriptively labeled links for parts. I haven't done any shopping for anything yet.

Component's Already have:

Forgot to mention the Case is Gamdias but i'm looking to possibly upgrade the case as well = this was a pre-built PC from someone so a lot of the information of age i'm not really sure of.
