well my deck beat all the people that were using the decks they planned
on using at regionals so i figure if i can beat them i might as well try
a go at regionals, it'll be my first big tourney so at least it'll be
good expericence and hey i might even win a few. well here's my deck if
anyone can offer any help the only deck that was a real problem was the
ravager/affinity.

4 forgotten cave
4 secluded steppe
9 plains
8 mountain
2 temple of the false god

3 eternal dragon
3 exalted angel

3 astral slide
4 lightning rift
4 spark spray
2 starstorm
3 wrath of god
2 akroma's vengeance
4 damping matrix
3 renewed faith
2 slice and dice

sideboard:
4 shatter
3 echoing ruin
2 pulse of the fields
2 scrabbling claws
2 weathered wayfarer
1 temple of the false god
1 obliterate

like i said the only problem this deck has is affinity but i can win if
i get control of the board early, i haven't played against a strong
blue/white control deck yet so i don't know about it. but any tips you
guys can give would help and any advice on what to do at a big
tournament cuz i've never been to one and i'm kinda nervous.

Be prepared for the mirror match as I'm sure lots of folks will play slide.
As for some general advice;

-When in doubt, ask a judge: Do not let your opponent make rules decisions,
just call the judge.

- Double check after each match that you de-sideboarded. Many a game loss
has come from those whose last match ended late and forgot to de-sideboard.

- Get as much sleep as you can the night before. By round seven or so,
you'll see those who didn't sleep much begin to drift off. Leaving you with
a better chance to finish higher.

- For cryin' out loud, take a shower and use deodorant! I cannot emphasize
this enough.

Hope that helps
