Astro A40 for csgo comp footsteps

I am planning on picking up a new headset today and i was looking at the A40's are they any good? I need to hear footsteps very well.

More than likely if that's what people are saying, they need a high signal to drive them well and most onboard soundcards won't cut it. My Sony's were like that. Very low off my onboard sound. Grabbed a $25 Asus Xonar with a better headphone amp and can't use them on high now. Huge difference.

Sorry but i changed my mind about those anyways now i am looking into the A40's do you know anything about those?
