Astro A50 Sound Card Help

I recently got wireless Astro A50's and when I got them working the sound was extremely quiet and when I turned up the volume there was an overwhelming static noise. I do not have an optical output which is used for the dolby 7.1 surround sound audio. My mobo is the MSI Z97S SLI Krait Edition. I'm looking for a sound card which will work perfectly with my Astro's which is the only headset I will use seeing as I don't have speakers or another pair.
