Ok.. this one's a tough one! It's very complex...
Or maybe it's not, maybe in missing something really simple.
Anyway here goes...
I am trying to set up a new streaming configuration, but i am having audio issues.

Details
•I have 2 PC's (one gaming, one streaming).
•I also have a Huappauge HD PVR 2.
•I ALSO have a Astro A40tr headset and mix amp pro.

Configuration
• My gaming PC has dual monitors, (main monitor and side monitor) These are both connected to my GPU (one by Display port, one by DIV to HDMI)
• I have the HD PVR connected to the same GPU by HDMI.
(My PC recognises this as 3 monitors even though it's really 2 and a HD PVR).
• I have my display set up as the 2 gaming PC monitors are in 'extended' mode and the HD PVR "monitor" is a clone of my main monitor.
•That HD PVR is then connected to my streaming PC by USB.
•So when I run a streaming program like split the image shown in the software is the clone of my main monitor.

Audio
Now if I stream like that there would be video but no audio.
So for audio...
• I have a Astro mix amp (white) connected to my gaming PC by both USB and optical audio cable.
• So all audio goes to that mix amp and then to my head set.
• To get that audio to my streaming PC i have a 3.5mm 3 pole jack connected to the 'stream' connection on my mix amp and the other end into the microphone Jack on my streaming PC.

Hope you were able to follow all that...

So the problem is when I stream like that the audio is very loud and screechy.
What a bit of what i like to call "microphone inception".

What I think is happening is that all the audio ( game and my voice) are being taken into the Astro mix amp and then being sent as one which is distorting it or probably playing it from 2 sources simultaneously through the same 3.5mm Jack.

Does anyone know how I can reconfigure this audio?

Ideally I would like the HD PVR to not only clone the video feed of the main monitor but also the audio and then take the microphone input from my headset for my voice.

Before you ask the reason I'm not streaming from the same PC I am playing on it is because there is congestion on the line when I do and it destroys either the stability of the stream or quality of the stream.

If anyone has any suggestion on how to reconfig the audio please let me know.

Solution
Never mind, I fixed it. Just in case anyone is curious or has a similar issue and stumbles upon this thread...
I downloaded a program call audio repeater to my gaming PC
I went to my gaming PC recording devices and selected my astro headset.
I right clicked and went to properties.
I ticked 'listen to this device' then selected my HD PVR from the drop down menu.
I then opened my new program.
I set wave one to 'line in pro game'
I set wave two to my 'HD PVR'
Bit rate 48000k
16 bit
Buffer 400ms
It auto set it to 2 lines
Then clicked start.
EUREKA!
Slight echo in the mic so needs some minor adjustments to levels but it is working as intended.
Actually I'm going to simplify the crap out if this...

If I set the HD PVR as the default playback device the games audio plays through the HDMI connection to the HD PVR like I want.
HOWEVER...
Stereo mix is not picking up the device. Stereo mix is set to listen to this device ( HD PVR 2) but it is not picking up any audio from it.
So...
How can I set the HD PVR 2 as the default device and make Stereo mix pick it up so I may also hear it through my headset?
