Im using H97M-E motherboard and I want to buy a Sumsung 960 Pro Nvme SSD but can’t figure out if my motherboard is compatible with that . It only says “M.2 socket 3 M-Key” I was able to confirm that the size is right but I can’t confirm that it is the right interface ... Do anyone know if it would work ?

Solution
~1100 MB/sec is still nothing to sneeze at.....

You can carry it with you later to next system which will support the full PCI-e 3.0 X4 bandwidth, which then enables ~3200 MB/sec sequential reads...
