I have just upgraded to a gigabyte aorus x470, Ryzen 5 2600 and Asus 1060 6gb dual.

I was previously using the 1060 fine in my previous setup of an fx8350, gigabyte 970 ud3p but now when I go to update the driver for the 1060 on a fresh windows install it just shuts off and disconnects.

A system restore lets me get display again but anytime I try to windows update or driver update it just shuts off.

I have no idea where to go on this

PSU is an evga nex750g1 and was fine before the new CPU, mb and ram.

I have just tested with my old r9 270 and the drivers have installed fine.

This happened with the 1060 in the 4x slot too.

I will try swapping the cards after windows updates have done and I get a chance to flash the bios.

Is this possibly a power issue when the 1060 tries to go from 800*600 to 1920*1080?
