Hello,

I built new pc 3weeks ago with asus gtx 1060 dual GPU and i5-6500 CPU. I noticed week ago that my GPU fans always spin when i heard that they shouldn't spin unless high temperatures.

My GPU temperatures are normal on idle and load (35~ idle/65-70~ load) So i was wondering how i can disable fans from spinning when idle. My fans spin currently 28% according to msi afterburner.

Any help is appreciated, ty.

Solution
They spin because if they stop the temperature would be over 50 degrees in idle which is a bit too much.

EDIT: Make sure you got good airflow in the case and all fans slots are occupied with fans, usually front fans intake, bottom fan intake, rear fan exhaust, top fans exhaust.
I moded my case to add an extra 2 fans on top because it was not enought what i had and my videocard was too hot, i got 2 n Noctua NF-S12A PWM 120mm fans in front as intake another Noctua NF-S12A PWM 120mm botom as intake, 2 Noctua NF-F12 PWM 120mm on top as exhaust, and on my 120mm radiator from the aio on the cpu i have 2 Noctua NF-F12 industrialPPC-3000 PWM 120mm push-pull configuration, this is to make an ideea how important the airflow can be, now my gpu...
