(i'm aware there's another thread very similar to this, but I want to narrow the options down)
The pros/cons I know of each:

Zotac: Better QC, Higher memory clock, HUGE card, lower core clock

Asus: Worse QC, lower memory clock, slightly smaller card, higher core clock

Opinions?

How about the phanteks enthoo pro m (I chose that one because someone suggested it in a past forum post)?
If not that, what would be a good choice?

I would get that one, but I don't have the room for a full tower case.
I wasn't expecting 2 of those zotacs to fit in a mid case, but you know more than me so thanks :)

Oh, alright. I don't really care for full windows personally, so if that's the only real difference between the two, I think I'll stick with the smaller window case.

Yeah, but having a small window just to see the graphics card is always nice. The drive bays aren't really necessary to see. Just to totally confirm, you CAN fit two of those cards in the case, correct?
If it matters, my mobo is the asus maximus viii hero.

Also, slightly off topic, but hows the zotac 1080 extreme vs the msi gaming z?

The Gaming X GTX 1080 features double ball bearing fans, a few gamer-specific features though MSI Gaming Control Center, a back-plate, and a significant factory OC. The Gaming Z, on the other hand, gives you all the features of the Gaming X, but higher clock speeds, and a custom RGB LED setup lining the top logo and an MSI "Dragon" logo on the back-plate.
It's decent , but the Zotac is a comparable card.

So, for the most part, all three cards are fair choices, no matter which one I choose?

I've decided against the gaming z as it's fairly new and probably won't be readily available for a while.
I would grab the zotac now, but my problem is the yellow stripe on the backplate doesn't match with the rest of my build, while the Asus would. I was originally leaning towards the asus because of the higher core speed, because I didn't think a rougly 800mhz memory increase would change much. What do you think?

I have the Zotac and I love it, the yellow doesn't bother me since my rig is dark, the neon of my LED's seems to dull the yellow so I barely notice it.

Super fast card, 100% recommend it, I will probably grab the 1080 Ti AE when it comes out, regardless of cost.
