Asus 2t2r Dual Band Wi-Fi Moving Antenna undetected by computer

Greetings,

I am experiencing an issue with my wifi antenna. I am using an Asus Maximus X Hero motherboard and it came with an AC Wifi 2x2 band mobile antenna. Despite securing the antenna in the base and screwing the two screws onto the wifi receptors of the motherboard, my computer is unable to detect any surrounding wifi signals.

What could I be doing wrong? The screws ae fastened very tightly and it feels like the antenna is secure in the base and the cables are set in the cable canal.

I'd appreciate any help. Thank you.
