Hey folks,
So today i bought the game call of duty, world at war. I was playing for like 30 minutes, then suddenly my screen went black and all it said was the monitor's: No video input.
So i guess this MUST be a graph card problem right?
specs:
p5q-pro motherboard
intel E8400 @ 3.0 ghz
4gb kingston hyperx @ 1066mhz
ASUS EAH4870 Dark Knight 1G
OCZ ModXStream 700W
So i rebooted the PC, no problems with booting/again no video signal.
Downloaded Fur Mark, and let it run for about 3 minutes
Well, after 3 minutes i reached the temperature of 94 degrees celcius(!) which is a bit to high i think?
(Testing on a resolution of 1920 x 1200 btw..)
Also after the crash/no video signal, the led D601 went on.
I searched what it was all about, and it says:
D601 - Red LED On, shows critical Core power fault
But the power shouldn't be the problem i guess? I have enough power left IMO.
Any suggestions?
Big thanks in advance!
Greetings,
Kaas
