I have an ASUS PG27A 4K monitor. when I connect it to my Xbox and go to the settings on my monitor, it says it is running at 1080p x something. I know that that is not 4k. There also is no way on my monitor's settings to turn it up to 4k. When I try to enable 4K mode on my xbox, it says that my monitor does not run at 60 FPS, but on my monitor it says clearly that it is running on 60 FPS. I am so confused. Also, do I configure 4K setting on the monitor itself or do I have to download something on my pc in order to configure it?

Are you connecting the monitor to the xbox with an HDMI cable? Because HDMI 1.4, which is the most common type right now I believe, can't drive a 4k monitor at 60 fps. It can only do 30 fps. DisplayPort is your best bet if your Xbox has one.
