The Card in Question

Has anyone else seen this? What are your thoughts on it? The only drawback that I see is the lower memory clock speed. I have a 256-bit Radeon 9500 with 128MB that won't mod to a 9700, and it's beginning to show it's age even while playing Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones. Please don't recommend upgrading to PCI-E as I just don't have the money right now. Oklahoma State has taken all of my money from me. Thanks for any input.

That much VRAM on the 6800 architecture, or ANY for that matter is just about useless, unless your running Vista's Aeroglass funciton (highly doubt it) Seeing as your spending nearly $200..I'd shoot for something like these...

X800GTO
Maybe an X850, if you can still find the rebate to push it below $200

Most sensible option would probably be the 6800GS though.
They can be had for $199. I realize a few bucks more, but absolutely worth the preformance gains.
