ASUS 750 TI OC - freezing on WIN764bit while opening just any application.

Did you plug in the additional 6-pin power cable?

Yeah that is plugged in..green LED. I do see the display...only prob happens when opening any app..like trying to watch movie or starting a game..

Do you have access to other power supplies for testing?

VIP brand seems suspect.

It is probably at best rated for 300w and it's wattage is most likely overrated.

Hmm..but there are no other PSU availabe as of now to me..i can unplug pwr from some drives and try...

Plz suggest some PSU..which will b best 4 this system..also 4got to mention..CPU is AMD phenom quad 3.2ghz black edition.

Got it working somehw..by disconnecting the 2 Drives..and providing individual pwr to the remaining HDD's...previously they were on serial..but I see scan lines nw when playing games.
