ASUS 7770 GHz edition compatibility

I have asus P5G41C-MLX motherboard having 1 pcix16 2.0 slot. My question is can I run a Asus 7770 GHz edition card with this board since it's a pci 3.0 compatible card.

you probably could of done a google search and you would of found your answer, but any 3.0 card is backwards compatible with that board

Yes, there will be no trouble or slowdown at all. PCI-e 2.0 and 3.0 are pretty much the same in practical use right now.

Just make sure your power supply is strong enough to run a graphics card.

PSU is corsair CX 500, I think there will be know problem with PSU
