hi guys, i recently bought a asus gtx 780 direct CU II, and i have a problem. Well this GPU has two led lights that turn on when you connect the pins. I plugged this in and only one of the lights turns on, the other one doesn't, So im not sure on how to proceed from here, is the GPU working with only one light on? My second Asus 780 DCII is working with 2 two green lights when is on . So this is bad card or what? I am connecting card the same way like second Asus 780 DCII which had 2 green lights on.

I would say a 750 watt with 2 780s are around the ok area. But you're limited on what you can do (small overclocks)

In the PSU, there are PCIe cables for the GPU, I think the 780 is a 8 pin and 8 pin? idk, because my 780 ti from asus is 8 pin and 8 pin

well, most PSU have them, and it's 6 pin + 2 more, so you can convert it to a 8 pin. Take out the card from the moherboard first, and then put it back in. Then, take out the cables again, and plug in the 2 pin with the 6 pin. Maybe you didn't place them correctly. No lights means the cables aren't in the power connects.

only one of the pcie power led´s is green! 8 pin led is green but the 6 pin led is not lighting up. If i remove the 6 pin Cable the led is red as it should be. Using a XFX 750 W and i tryed switching PSU too but it shows the same.

Could the 6 pin green led be broken? Because there is 4 led´s, 2 on each Power connection (green/red).

I try my friends Asus 780 DirectCuII and lights are working properly , both are green. So cables are ok.

Really, that's weird. I know what you're talking about. But both of my lights are green, because I properly placed the cables. Yours could be different, because my 780 ti is 8 pin + 8 pin.

Ahhh damn, I forgot this. Whenever I took off my PSU cable, the card lights would go off because there's no power. It would only go red when there was no cable on the slot, or not properly seated. It turned green when the cable was on. Even when my computer is off, it's still green.

What's the second card doing? Is it also doing the same? I have a feeling it has something to do with the amount of power. ASUS cards are power hungry cards. Maybe 750 watts is not enough.
