ASUS A55M-E starts for a few seconds, fans come on, then I hear one beep and it shuts down. This is a new build.

Can anyone help? I have tried alll the troubleshooting steps from the ASUS sight, like clearing cmos and reapplying thermal paste.

The best place to start with that is the mother board manual and find what the beep code says.
