asus a7v are thay any good

Hi all im thinking of getting the Asus a7v with the kt133a and was wondering what thay are like? Will thay run @ 133fsb what other issues have come up thanks for you time

i'm looking into getting one too....

looks like an excellent board, that or the abit kt7a raid.

i had the regular a7v for awhile and it was a great board, so i'm sure that the new one will be just as good (quality wise)

The A7VPro one is good, the one with ATA100 controller is not that great as it has some issues with detecting the drives, I had in hanging (even in the BIOS sometimes). So I went with Abit KT7 just because I have a USR 56k ISA modem, so I needed an ISA slot which A7V misses. Performance wise they are the same, but Abit haz better stability and compatibility reputation which I have to agree with.

I don't think 133FSB will be possible.

I actually just sold my K7M which was really faithfull to me for a year (or I was faithfull to it ), anyway, I got an Abit cos I did not want to buy a different modem, maybe next time will go with Asus again... hehe

So you are talking about the A7V133? Look at my reply to the "A7V setup" from Delusional. It works fine for me.
