ASUS A88x-Plus Drivers Won't Install

I built a computer recently and now I am running into problems with installing motherboard drivers.

Hardware:
-ASUS A88X-PLUS motherboard
-AMD Radeon R9 285x gpu
-AMD Athlon X4 860k Quad-Core

I had issues with the device manager not recognizing my GPU last night when attempting to install its drivers but this morning when I tried again it downloaded the drivers and recognized my GPU in the device manager and I did nothing differently than I did last night which is weird.

My main problem now is my motherboard drivers will not install on my pc. Here is the error I get when trying to individually install the drivers: This operating system is not supported by the AMD Processor Driver.

I am running Windows 8 however it is not activated because I used the product key from my laptop to install Windows 8 on this computer. Is this related to my not being able to install the motherboard drivers? Does Windows 8 have compatibility issues with my motherboard?

Yes it COULD BE that License is for the laptop only , you need to purchase an OS.
