After searching long and hard... I came across a DVI to component video adapter from Monoprice.com:

http://www.monoprice.com/products/produ...041901&p_id=2398&seq=1&format=2&style=

It states that it works for Nvidia 6600 and 6800 series. I was wondering if there were any other types of DVI-component (or even HDMI) adapters that would work with the DVI output on this motherboard.

Your URL is wonky, but I took a quick look. I don't believe you can use it, because those component adaptors are designed to work with DVI-I outputs, and the M/B has a DVI-D. This is the same issue with not being able to use a DVI-to-VGA adaptor.

Hahaha, ok, Component Video is ANALOG, you can get a VGA to Component Video adapter for cripes sake. And the adapter you're looking it isn't even USING the DVI interface, it's using the VGA breakout pins found on the DVI-I connector.

Yes, you can get DVI to HDMI cables.
