[SOLVED] ASUS AI Overclock High Temps

Solution
even if at 5.1ghz?
Intel knows how hot their 10th gen can get without those power limits, that's why they implemented them in the first place.
Pretty much any overclock that involves running beyond Intel's defined power limits for that cpu = lots of heat.

Just leave it at stock.
Plus, the i9s have Thermal Velocity Boost, which cause overclocking to lose face anyways; with the proper cooling, the cpu will pursue higher clocks on it's own.
TVB is only active up to 70C though.

Or just run Intel Performance Maximizer.

Just give it up and leave it at stock operation. That cpu gets way too hot with any kind of overclocking software for a 240mm hybrid cooler to be able to handle.

Straight up, 360mm or larger hybrid, or custom liquid for that kind of use.

What I figured unfortunately. What is the max temperature for the 10900KF? 100?
