ASUS AI Suite 2 question

hi all,
I've been thinking of updating my BIOS but research across the internet shows that it is a highly dangerous procedure. I'm treating it like a patch for my MOBO.

My motherboard is a P8P67 LE.

So i was thinking of letting ASUS AI suite do all the work for me.
Question is, is ASUS AI Suite 2 "trustworthy" in updating BIOS?
Also, should i update the AI suite to 3 before using it to update my bios?

The bottom line is you should never update the BIOS just because it's not the latest version.

You need to have a much better reason than that, such as a compatibility or technical issue which a specific BIOS update addresses.
Otherwise leave well alone!

Aww, i guess i leave well enough alone for now then.

though, any idea what improve system stability means?

"improve system stability" is fairly obvious ain't it? It means system runs more reliably and less prone to crashing.

exactly, and as always if your system is running fine and stable, what's the need for updating BIOS? - There isn't one.
