With all the issues Ive encountered after my rebuild, I decided (with the support of an asus senior tech) to re-install W7. So I lost it all and started from bare boned software and am having the same GD issues that so many were blaming on the software like AI suite etc. So I decided to reinstall the AI suite again. I believe I had this same problem the first time I attempted to install it, I go to the website, click on the utilities tab, click on AI suite(the first/top one, DL it to me desktop (I have tried "save" AND "run", BOTH. It dl's and shows up on the pop up screen of DL's and when I dbl click on it to install it on my system, it just does nothing, the bar goes across like its loading, and when its done, theres nothing there. plus two pop ups show up in the lower section of my screen and when I click on them, its another small window that says "run" so I click on THAT ONE, and again, NOTHING, then I try to bring up the second window thats down there, and when I click on IT, it just disappears?!! ROAR!!! WTF!!
Anyone have ANY ideas? I cannot remember how I got it to install last time, becuz remember I had this same problem trying to install it the first time.
My system has other issues, but Ive posted those already, now I cant find my own posts, they dont show up in "my topics" tab when I click on it.
Asus P8Z68 V-Pro, Intel 2600K CPU, CPU cooler, 2-GTX 260 OC2's-but I have gone down to one card(another issue), 800W CM Gold series, Corsair Blue anodized RAM made for this MB 2X4GB DDR3, Raptor 10,000 rpm HD. BTW I use comcast protection suite and norton that comes with comcast subscription.
I took one card out cuz SLI has issues too, even though this board brags about how its GREAT for SLI users, LMAO.

Yes, I have the same problem and mine is the P8Z68 V. Up until now it still wouldn't install. Have you been able to figure out what the problem is?

YES! I actually have found a fix. Go to the Asus download page and just type in the basic P8Z68 motherboards( If i remember correctly), and there is a "patch" for the AI suite II. Its a patch that you download first, then you dload the AI suite and it worked like a charm. If you get lost or confused, just call their # and navigate to the motherboard support section and ask for the correct route to the AI suite II patch for the 1155 chipset boards, and someone should know the exact spot to go. The confusion with this is that the "patch" is NOT in the section that I navigated to because I went to the P8Z68 V-Pro and this patch, for whatever stupid crazy unknown moronic reason, is only posted in the one basic ( I think) mb page, NOT the "V" or "V-Pro" or "extreme" etc. pages. I hope that makes sense, I tried my best to be as specific as I can with my limited techy talk-lol. Because I know how frustrating this stuff can be, as you can read my aforementioned issues above. Good luck, if you get totally lost or misled, write back to me and I will hunt it down myself and post a link, its just late right now, an I need sleep.
