Asus amd a8-4500 or acer aspire V3 intel i3

hi,
I need to purchase a new laptop. My Dell inspiron lasted 6 yrs but's slowly running down.

Asus AMD A8-4500 and Acer Aspire V3 intel i3 are two comparably priced ones I'm looking at.

Main functions: MS office and Adobe, Internet researching, youtube videos, AutoCad, Smart Notebook (math teaching tool).

not into gaming...more on the teaching/business end.
