ASUS Anti-Surge was triggered (new PSU)

So i have used a Corsair 750W power supply for a while now, i don't remember the specifics. However, recently it got mega hot and started smoking so I had to replace. Due to costs I decided to opt for the EVGA 700W power supply as this still provides enough power for my PC. However, upon launch of the PC I am greeted by the message shown above. The computer launches perfectly fine and runs with no issues after pressing F2. However, i was curious whether this is actually a major issue or not. Unlike some other threads I have seen about this, my PC is not turning off randomly, it stays on despite the message.

Specs:
CPU: Intel Core i3 540 @3.07GHz
RAM: 8GB Dual-Channel DDR3
Motherboard: ASUSTeK Computer INC. P7H55-M/USB3
GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 960 (2GB)
PSU: EVGA 700 B1, 80+ BRONZE 700W

Anyone know whether this would be a faulty power supply or possibly something else?

I believe it was talking about your old corsair one.

It could be the power coming from the wall is bad, do you have the computer plugged into a surge protector?

Thank you James, after you mentioned the old PSU and wall supply, I decided to check the power cable as I had originally decided to use the old cable in order to save the new one as a spare. However, i noticed the old cable was 13A whereas the new one supplied with the PSU is 5A, I assume this is what was causing the issue. Using the new cable has stopped the message appearing now.
